Should I replace rotors??

I'm replacing front wheel bearings/hubs and I'm not sure if I should replace the rotors as well? The rotors are about a year old but I'm not sure if the bad bearings caused the rotors to go bad as well. Thanks

I would not unless they are pulsing or visible abnormal wear.

Rotors have a minimum size that you have to measure out with a micrometer. If your at or near the minimum it's time to change... If your there after 1 year you must have OEM brakes .

If they show no signs of wear and if they're runout is perfect, (not warped) there's no reason to replace em...Gary

No need to replace the rotor unless it's out of spec by being too thin, or "warped"

If they are within spec like everyone says, definitely get them machined when replacing the bads. It'll give you a fresh surface to start off with. It's fairly cheap to get done and a lot of auto parts stores and brake shops do them.

Did you check the runout after installation? What was the value?

Do you have oem wheels? I had nasty steering wheel and overall vibrations at 70+ mph. Fix for me was replacing hub centric rings on aftermarket wheels. Unless your wheels are bent also?

During braking?

Or vibration in general?
