Akebono BBK problems
05 awd sedan, just called the mechanic, said even tho I had all 18 inch rims with spacers the bbk still wouldn't fit on my two front wheels, even tho they fit on my rears, also I bought rotors from a member on this site, and the mechanic is saying the rotors are too small, saying the pad wears down incorrectly, and that I should get bigger rotors and 19 inch rims, I was expecting a clean install,, I have uploaded the rotors I bought off this site, they were for brembo, does that matter? ill upload the rest of the pics when the mechanic sends them, Can anyone tell me why my bbks wouldnt fit 18" rims? Spent too much money on this install

I think you have a parts mismatch.
What kit do you have? The Infiniti Akebono kit like this?
If so, those are 14" front rotors and 13.1" rear rotors.
If you bought Brembo rotors, you probably bought the 03-04 Brembo 13" rotors, which are incorrect. You are going to have to buy the 14" rotors...which are hard to find.
And yes, with 14" rotors, you will need 19" wheels or some pretty big spacers for the front rims. IIRC 15mm minimum.

Mechanic says pad wear will be weird, if i should be worried about that, hes keeping the rears on since theyre barely off in size,

Those are not the correct rotors at all. Without measureing them, i'm going to guess those are 03-04 Brembo rotors. The Akebono's use different rotors.
The 03-04 Brembo rotors are:
-Front Rotor Diameter: 12.76"
-Rear Rotor Diameter: 13.07"
The Akebono rotor diamters are:
-Front Rotor Diameter: 14.0"
-Rear Rotor Diameter: 13.8"
I suggest breaking out a ruler and measuring what you have here.
Running the front brakes with half the pads hanging off the rotor is not safe and I'm franky surprised your mechanic let you drive off like that. That's a huge liability right there if you brake hard and the pad fails because half of it is just hanging in the breeze. Weird pad wear would be the least of my concerns here. Even the rear rotors aren't correct.
You're options are simple here.
Purchase the correct rotors for the front and rear, and 19" wheels/tires.
or
Take the Akebono's off and run the 03-04 Brembo calipers.
Option 2 will likely be the cheapest.
Either way...running the way you are is not safe.

You should really get the sized rotors. If you don't want to get new wheels try some spacers to see if your current wheels will clear the calipers. Check out rockauto for all your brake pad and rotor needs. Or if you want just looks you can go with brakeperformance (these are just drilled/slotted centric oem quality blanks - you probably lose some braking ability with these since there is less surface area).
