Another Grinding Noise...

I've had my coupe lowered on springs for a little over a year now and have never had a single issue with the it. But I changed my front tires (not sure if thats relevant) and basically the next day I hear a scraping/grinding noise coming from the back left wheel whenever I make hard right turns, or if I have enough weight in the car something will scrape almost no matter what. I don't hear anything when straightened out, unless there's enough weight of course and every little bump can make the grinding noise. I want to believe it is the wheel bearing, since I've taken a look at everything and the entire wheel/tire don't have any signs of rubbing. I tried using both the regular and hand brake while hearing the noise but nothing changed. The rotor looks fine, but it does have a louder grind at a certain point in every revolution. It sounds like metal on metal, however, and if I'm going fast enough the noise can turn in to a higher and higher pitch whistle. I don't want to replace the bearing if that's not the matter here, does anyone have some input? I haven't been able to find this exact problem online so here I am.
