Hawk HPS Question

Greetings,

I have a 2006 G35 Coupe with the sports/aero package, but no Brembo calipers. I am looking for new pads and I'm thinking about going with Hawk HPS pads.

However, when I went to Hawk's website and punched in my car's information, they listed two kinds of Hawk HPS pads for the FRONT. One is larger and thicker than the other. Below are the links to the two different pads on the website. I need some guidance as to which pad I should be using on my FRONT. I don't want to buy the bigger one if it's too like (like if it's designed for the Brembo caliper or something). Thanks for your help!

I don't have any experience with them but I would just contact hawk. Also I would look around for better price, pretty sure I've seen both of those exact ones for like $75 on amazon.
Also g35s didnt come with brembos after 04 and when scrolling down to see what models the brakes applied to I saw that on both pages it said "without brembo front calipers" for model years that did come with brembos

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
FYI I tried the Hawk HPS pads a few years ago and hated them so much I gave them to a friend with less than a 1000 miles on them. Poor cold bite, noisy and not what I had expected them to be.

G35 6MT Coupe
Yup, I had them on plenty of cars and they were great. Ordered them for my 2006 coupe and got the wrong size.

I got fed up and just got EBC redstuff. They're great for the street and I have no complaints. Sorry Hawk... Had I gotten the right size I'd have stuck with you, but these days it's so easy to order something else and not deal with the BS. I'm an EBC fan now.

I like the fact that hawks don't have good cold bite. They perform very well when hot and brake fade is rare. Much better than Stoptech, not sure about EBC.

I would not order through hawk. I would go to Z1 or Concept Z.
