Front Suspension Install

Im reinstalling all my front arms (upper and lower) and shocks. For some reason the ball joints from the compression rod are not lining up with the hole in the wheel hub. All parts are currently hand tight in place except the compression rod ball joint that does not line up with the hole. when I jack the wheel hub it starts jacking towards the front of the car and more away from the hole. ive positioned the jack all ways with no avail.

Is theres some kind of special procedure or order of which you should reinstall these parts?

Im finding it more difficult than it should be. I couldn't even fit the shock in without taking the lower control arm off. Everywhere Ive searched people are taking it off like its a breeze.

With work and barely any time after, im already on a week and a half without my car. Am I missing something?

When I replaced my compression rod, I believe I used the jack under the rod and muscled the hub back and over while slowly raising the rod. The rod fights the natural tendency of the hub to move forward, you might just be missing some elbow grease.

yep. had to pull on the jack really hard so it didnt roll while jacking up the control arm so that the comp rod ball joint hole on the hub would go up straight. just weird how a few inches of the jack rolling will make lol, hadnt ate all day that day and had worked on the car by myself.

this was my first time ever uninstalling/reinstalling the whole front suspension. lots of learning curves!

really wasnt THAT hard, but that snag had me going!
