Rear Control Arm Ball Joint boot issue? unglued?

Upon removal of rear upper control arm, i heard a slight air pop and it looks like the boot came free from the stud end of the joint, so now there is a slight gap between the tapered seat and the boot itself. No grease has come out but looks as there is enough room for water and other contaminants to get in. Assuming there is no way to reattach?

Was replacing sub frame, diff, and rear control arm bushings. I'll end up just putting it back on for now until I get a new one. Just wanted to know of any temp fix or if I should just leave it alone.

Car only has 65k miles but its an 03 so I don't expect everything to hold up especially in Florida.

Thanks, Mike
