WOW!!!! Great work Gsedan35! Very detailed and informative!
Now to break down the information so it can be applied... Gsedan35, some of these springs transfer roll stiffness to the front and some to the back. Some transfer a considerably high percentage to the front compared to the rest. What would be the ideal setup to produce the most nuetral setup? How much transfer would a coupe and/or a sedan need to balance out the suspension? |

I am looking for the stiffest springs for the least amount of drop. I want the stock look and want to ride on rails. I already have the D-Specs and Stillen sways, but still have too much body roll for my liking. I currently have the sport springs on my 03 G35 sedan.
Anybody recommend anything? Looks like Espelir might be good but don't know about the drop. I don't want to mess up camber, etc... |

Anyone know what the spring rates are for a Canadian version of 04.5 coupe 6mt with sport tuned suspension (firmer springs & shocks listed in the sales brochure) and spring rates for 05 350Z?

I'm not sure what all that great information you've posted actually means, but I'm looking to lower my '03 coupe about 1" - 1.25" (after settling) on some 20s. I'm not interested in spending alot of money and time on redoing the entire suspension of the car. I'd like to simply install springs that are compatible with the stock suspension and close in stock ride comfort. There's alot of buzz on the 350Z H-Techs (why not G Coupe H-techs?), Espelirs (not sure which ones), and G Coupe Eibach Pro springs. Which one of these will accomplish my goal? Can you guys post pics of your coupes after its settled?
Please help! Thanks in advance. |

I just bought a complete set of '04 350Z springs/shocks off of Ebay(already assembled!). How do I tell if they are the "revised" set? Didn't they revise them sometime in the 04 model year? Thanks!

GSedan (or anyone else),
Do you have any comments on Tanabe's Sustec Pro S-OC coilovers? EDIT: Forgot to mention that I did search over at my350z, but my primary question is "what's the minimum drop on a G35 sedan?" Looking for coilover solution that won't require add'l camber/toe hardware. Last edited by woshiagni; 01-13-2006 at 03:55 AM. |

Awesome thread.
What happens when you go with springs that a stiffer in the front, but softer in the rear? I have the G35 H-Tech and after the install, the car seemed to handle better and the ride was a touch stiffer. |
