^If you have the sport suspension your shocks will be red. Are you talking about the eibach kit for the G or for the Z?

I Just got my alignment done 2 weeks after the drop , told them to get as close to stock as possible.

Your SAI on the right-front is way out of spec. SAI is not adjustable and can indicate suspension damage (such as a bent strut). Did you have any trouble with the install?

On the last link check out the "Macpherson Strut Suspension" section.

No install went smoothly. hmm what can it be?

The car tracks straight on the highway and going sub 15 mph. One of the links said something about pulling at low speeds.

Its says its in the "Specified range"? shrug

Whats included angle, a quick google search says its something to do with the SAI somewhat.

Getting ready to take the plundge!!!!

Can someone review what I have gathered from this thread to setup my Z/G coupe combo correct?

My car = 2006 G35 Sedan 6MT Sport

Is this the setup I need :
  • Front 1" drop
  • Rear 1/2" drop
  • 2003/2004 FRONT - Z springs - 1 pink dot and 1 orange dot. ( are these springs the same all years? )
  • 2003-2004 REAR - Coupe springs - 3 red dots

These appear to be same spring rates as my OEM springs ( best match for sport shocks ).

If all the above is correct PERFECT Just let me know.

Also from reading this thread has the Z front spring rate always been the same ( 314 ) ?

Is a 2007 350Z front strut the same as a G35 sport sedan strut? I only ask cause my friend has a full 2007 350Z front setup for sale.
If its identical to me adding 03/04 front springs on my struts Ill buy his fronts ( there still assembled so I wont need a spring compressor just swap in. )
and then just add coupe springs to my rears.

My main concern is keeping the stock spring rates matched to stock and KEEPING MY RIDE smooth.

Thanks in advance guys!!!

the ride isn't all that smooth with 350z suspension

I have full 06 350z suspension so the front struts will bolt right in.

So are you saying putting in from 06 350Z front springs and struts is diff than just adding 03/04 springs onto my stock sport struts? ( im talking just the front )

rear im just adding coupe springs.

the struts are different, they are designed for different length springs

So then to keep my ride smooth I should stick to my original plan :

My car = 2006 G35 Sedan 6MT Sport

Is this the setup I need :

* Front 1" drop
* Rear 1/2" drop

* 2003/2004 FRONT - Z springs - 1 pink dot and 1 orange dot.
* 2003-2004 REAR - Coupe springs - 3 red dots

It appears these should be the exact match.

QUiK - As 00gts said, my inclination would be to put the 06 Z struts/springs on the front as a matched set since I'm not sure but the Z strut is likely a little shorter than your sedan sport strut. Plus it's just less work than installing different springs on your sedan struts.

Other than that, you should have a nice setup there. Mine's noticeably stiffer than stock (I was also sport) but I do have sport coupe springs (427lb) out back.

OK cool as for the rear, Should I add coupe Rear springs to my stock rear shocks, or go with the 427lb coupe rear springs and try and find 07Z rear shocks?

Or just add the std coupe rear springs to my rear shocks.

As long as it feels semi stock, my se-r is on KYB AGX + Ground Controls and its super rough. I dont wanna ruin the ride quality in my new car.

this is what full 06 z suspension looks like(keep in mind my winter tires are a bit shorter then stock because my bro had them laying around so with the correct sidewall height the wheel gap may be a tad less)

the problem with this is that the car now rides like a 350z..which isn't wonderfull...lol

your ride will probably be better with the coupe rears, but im not sure about that..height should be about the same as mine because i think the revised rears are about the same height as coupe springs
