IOS Akibono Caliper Brackets now available!

Hello Everyone,

We just received the first order of our custom brackets in from the machine shop. They're made from 7075-T6 aluminum and the kits include all the hardware necessary for installation. Everything's been spec'd and tested to levels that exceed what a G35 or 350Z can produce during normal street or even track use.

Our brackets are thicker than some of the other options and put the pad surface right at the very top of the rotor. Depending on the exact rotor and pad combo, this may vary slightly as well. I have had zero issues with my initial prototype sets and they have all still fit under my stock 18" 07 350Z wheels up front as well. If you have any questions about this, please speak with us before ordering.

Thread on my350z with track testing results, impressions, etc...

And of course some pictures of the parts:

Yeah, It's me... Still doing a little with the G20 stuff, but now it's mostly the crazier stuff.... N1/20V parts, custom headers, etc...

Pricing on the kit is very competitive considering the materials used. We're also offering a discount on this first run, if you purchase them as part of a brake kit.

Stoptech rotors just arrived in this afternoon. We've added them as a rotor option on the order page.

I thought about doing this for a while. Once you consider the IB Spon$orship fees, material, and machining then the price is about right. Now EverythingG35 does sell numerous items, so their fee is spread over many products, but that is around the price I was going to sell them for. I still have the 3D CAD models on my computer, they are exactly like the ones pictured......which are reverse engineered from Concept Z it appears.

Our are not reverse engineered from any other bracket sets. I did all of the design/test fitment/prototyping work and I have all the documentation to prove this as well.

They're all going to look similar because you only have a small window to fit everything in, without having caliper to spindle clearance issues, caliper to wheel issues, pad surface to rotor surface lining up, etc....
