Looking for a g35 coupe
Hey! im a newbie here so dont judge Ive been looking into a 2004 g35 coupe & a 2008 nissan altima coupe. i am having trouble on deciding which one is better for me. What i am asking is if you can list all the pros and cons of both cars. Please dont say stuff like, 'well your in the g35 forum so obviously the g35' or 'the g35 cause its awesome'.. i want real pros and cons.. thank you!

It depends what you want to do with your car. Personally I can't stand the under steer associated with FWD cars along with the shaking if the steering wheel when accelerating.
If you live where it snows and it's your DD Altima could be a better choice.
If you want to slam it to the ground & mod the crap out of it, the G is a better choice.
Altima = accord coupe in my book....semi practical.
G is more of a piece of art, I love the clean lines, catamaran fenders and the exhaust note.
Just my opinion.

For me....
Newer car vs Older car.
That's huge right there is your price range dictates choosing between a 100K mile 2004 G35, or a 50K mile 2008.
Yes, there are other significant difference. Drive both. You have FWD vs RWD. One thing i notice is that Nissans tend to ride a little "different". They don't feel as solid and feel as if they will fall apart over bumps at higher miles.
There is also the engine size as *most* altima coupes come with the 2.5L, and only the higher models get the 3.5.
Unsure if you really understand they are two different cars. Lots of people i know think they are the same exact car with Nissan badges on them

Judging from your name, erikLA you don't live in the frozen north or east so there's no reason to go FWD. RWD has always been my choice. I've driven FWD but didn't enjoy being "Pulled" plus hearing the front tires chirp is way strange. Looking back I believe manufactures came up with FWD cause it was cheaper to make which was a turn off from the beginning. You won't be sorry buying a G35, especially the coupes since they're just too cool for words!
