What do you think? Good buy?

Hey guys,

I've been lookin to get a G35 for a little while now, and havent had much luck finding a good local deal on a 6mt coupe, it seems in my area that its always the autos more common/cheap. Anyway, I found a 6MT 2004 G35 recently with 90,000 Miles, clean leather interior with OEM Nav, has a nice set of wheels, and all around Greddy body kit.

The car has some nice features for sure with a low mileage.. Final negotiated price: $6800.

Now the thing that makes this deal "almost" perfect is the color, its been repainted a very stand out Gold which Ive pretty much never seen on a G. When I first saw it I thought god thats tacky, but it quickly grew on me and I think it looks pretty damn awesome ! My main worry is when I come to sell the car , how difficult selling it will be as well as what do you guys think of the color ? I mean I personally like it, but let me know what you guys think

Thanks !!

Looks good, seems cheap enough and 90K is nothing if it hasn't been rode hard and hung up wet. Every squirrel finds a nut now and then and you like it, someone else will when you get tired of it and want to move on.

For the price/mods/mileage, I think it's a great deal. It is pretty cheap to wrap your car now a days. I don't think the color looks bad, just a little loud.

You're sure its a clean title? $6300 US seems a bit cheap for clean coupe with 90k miles. I would definitely double check on that.

Looks kinda cool tho. Definitely original. Don't ever rob a bank in that thing. You'll be caught in no time. Haha

If you can handle the color the price is right. Does it have a clear title or is this a junk yard dog someone put togeather?

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Just know that besides the repaint, mods will always make the car harder to sell over a stock vehicle. I love the color and if the car's in great shape the price is a steal. I'd do that deal in a heartbeat.

Thanks for all the responses guys !!

For those wondering, it is a clean title ! I went and checked the car recently, the overall body and mechanical condition was great ! I placed a deposit and will be purchasing the car Friday.
I personally really like that style of wheels as well, and like the polished deep lip, but to each its own !

Will post pictures when I pick her up !,
Thanks !

I hate em too. Haha

I've always been a fan of a nice, simple set of 5 or 7 spoke. Or a 10 spoke if yer talking about OEM rays, but that's really a hollowed 5 spoke.
