I have been lurking on these forums since I started to consider purchasing this car. I've narrowed it down to two cars and and am considering making an offer today or tomorrow on one of these.

The two options are both 2005 G35x models, both are one owner cars, both are dealer serviced, and neither has been reported to be in any accidents. One has 93k miles and appears to have some minor issues w/ the leather on driver seat and is listed at $9.5k, the other has 57k miles and is in fantastic condition and is listed at $12k. The lower mileage one is with a new car dealer that doesn't sell Infiniti and has been on the lot for close to a month now, the higher mileage one is with an independent used car dealer and has been out a couple of weeks. I plan to keep this car for around four years and will probably put on approximately 80k to 90k miles in that time.

Thanks for the reply. I was already leaning that direction. The dealership is closed to today, but I emailed the salesman asking him what the best he could do on price was.

So you think anything around $10.5k or less is a pretty good deal?

The car has good tires and brakes. Besides possibly change some of the fluids upon purchase, what preventative maintenance and repairs am looking at in the foreseeable future?
