2004 G35 Copue AT with 69K

Hey Fellas,

I am currently in the market for a new car. My long time neighbor owns a 04 G35 with 69k miles on it. He is moving overseas for a few years and offered his car to me for 8k.

I've test drove it and it was mechanically sound. The interrior is next to perfect and there are only small dings on the exterior. I have done some research and have heard of the problems with the window motors, the breaks and tires wearing down quickly but that all seems minor to me. Have any of you seasoned g35 drivers had any serious problems with this year g35? I am also looking at getting a newer MT Accord but would love not having a car payment which is why im seriously considering this G35.

all and any feedback is welcome. Thank you for your time.

The G is absolutely a steal at $8k with 69k miles. You could flip it if nothing else and make $2-3k if you wanted to put the work in. If it was a stick you could get a little more even (which is why I was wondering if about the tranny type).

If it were a sedan $8k would be about right. The coupe is more sought after tho. Should go for about $10-12k with that mileage.

That's a low price for that many miles. KBB value for that mileage is $13k - 15k.
There's someone here who compiles reliability data for our cars which is worth taking a look at here:

Thanks for that link. Everything seemed like normal upkeep on a car. Window motors are not a big deal. I think I am going to pull the trigger and get the car.
