Help buying used g35 that has been modded

Hi everyone I've been on a crazy spree of searching for a g35 6mt or a 5at with tiptronic and I've found one that I'd like to get everyone's opinion on.

Firstly I should mention that my price range is about 6-7,500

Anyways here is the guys car: http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/4906164252.html
He has a different phone number now so you can't reach him

It had 150k miles on it when I turned it on and he said he had bought the car with the mods already installed from the previous owner but he himself has only put about 8k miles into it. He let me test drive it already and I must say...I was easily impressed, everything felt super smooth. He says it has already passed smog and would pass easily if I had to again (California). Hes now asking 6500 and I'm thinking that I might be able to get him down to 6000 which fits perfectly within my price range. The reason for selling is because of his baby, having to get the carseat in/out was not for him. He doesn't have a list of installed mods and I don't know much about it so its hard for me to say anything. Should I even bother with this car? Maybe get a Carfax?

Its really funny how I ran into this guy...saw his ad a couple of days ago, but I didn't bother to call him because of it looking heavily modified. I'm self employed and I fix garage doors so as I was backing out of a customers house I saw this g35 parked out front. I pulled over and looked up his ad again and sure enough it was him so I went to the front door and that's how I started talking to him

Your story is really unnecessarily long, bro. I'm not trying to be a d!ck but what do you want to know? Like I don't care if you're a garage repair man (no offense), but what are you asking?

If you're asking whether or not you should buy it, then yeah, that's a decent price if its not a salvage title. Just make sure you ask him how much oil it burns and tell him you want it for $6k cuz that ugly @ss grill is gonna keep you from getting any chicks.

Ask him if he has any original parts included with the sale?

Logic being you can sell the parts, or take off what you don't like and sell the mods. (like the grill )
