Is this G35 coupe worth it?
Hey guys,
I reverently came across 2 G35 coupe's and I wanted to know which one I should look into more.
First one:
2005
6MT
Gray
140k Miles
$9,990 but can talk him down to about $9,000
Second one:
2004
6MT
Black
126k Miles
$9,000
The first one is from a used car dealer, and the second one is a private seller.
They are both in pretty good condition as far as interior and exterior. Haven't looked into the engine part of that yet. But the guy from the used car dealership said that the only think that will need to be done is new tires to the first one.
Thanks for your input!

Well, first off. Do you have a preference over the interiors, because 2004 and 2005 are two different interiors. That alone would be a decision maker for me.
On paper, i'd prob go for the second one. Less miles, and you figure if oyu need tires for the first one, that's about $1K extra right there for the tires.
I'd prob grab the one with less miles, but I wouldn't want an 04's interior.

I got a 07 coupe back in November from a dealer for 9 and some change with 102k on it. Car was in great condition with every option except nav And it needed rear brakes. 1 wheel had a a hairline crack but I doubt the dealer knew. The price on coupes plummets during winter months well atleast in areas that get snow. If you can be patient and wait until then I would pass on both.

I would opt for the 05 if you can get him down to $9k. You would just have to check the vehicle's maintenance and accident history, and have a mechanic inspect the engine/trans/suspension/brakes.
Like another poster said, the 05 interior is updated and a little nicer than the 04. That alone is a big deal for me.
Good luck in your choice!
