G35 for 6000
So I found a 03 G35 for 6000. Guy tells me it has under 70k miles which checks out with the odometer... but a G35 for $6000 and low miles 12 years later ??? I think some things up. Maybe someone changed the odometer along the way. He says he bought the car 2 years ago for 10,500. He says he just wants to get rid of it for a truck. It has some scrapes and dings. Nothing major. Interior is fine and a check engine light for the Camshaft Position Sensor. P0340. So is it worth It ? Or do you guys think somethings up

I'd confirm that the CEL is in fact the sensor and nothing more serious. When I was in the market for mine, there was an '07 coupe with this same code. I had it inspected by a local Infiniti and was told certain models had recalls for this issue. The seller in my case eventually confessed to me that they didn't want to pay for the fix since theirs wasn't eligible for the recall. Seems like a good deal otherwise, but it's probably in your best interest to play it safe, good luck!

This is an artificially inflated prices by the young drivers who know nothing about economics. Also, the 2003, while still a great car, is the least desirable because it has undergone zero redesigns or revisions. If it's pre 2003.5 it can't be tuned (via Osiris) without an O2 sensor change, and those early early models were a first run where a lot of the problems were much more prevalent (as with any first run). It's not actually that cheap of a price, but I'd say it's a "bit" cheap. I would expect it more around $8k for a perfectly functional specimen, but with a thrown code and some wear, $6k seems appropriate.

Would have to agree here.
The AWD sedan had a higher MSRP than the Coupe, and yet sedan prices fell like a rock while coupe still held value due to demand.
Reality is, it's a 12-year old car. $6K is about where it should be.
