What would you guys value this G at?
So the good news is that I leased a beautiful 2015 Q50 last week!! The other news is that I have the first car that I owned, the classic 03 G35 for sale, but I'm not getting too many hits for my asking price of $5000. So what do you guys think a fair asking price would be based on the specs below, and do you have any leads besides craigslist, and cars.com, where I could post it? I had a sales rep from oncedriven.com reach out to me, but I don't like the idea of paying money up front to help sell my car.
Either way here is the info:
Looking to sell my 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan. Before me it had one previous owner from Northern NJ. I purchased this vehicle at the end of August in 2014 and did some work on it, I've taken care of the vehicle during my ownership, including routine maintenance.
**One item that will need replacement is the circuit board**
The circuit board in this vehicle is notorious for being faulty, it currently needs replacement. Since the circuit board is not working, the controls on the stereo and the temperature controls do not function. The temperature controls currently operate on an "auto A/C" setting every time.
Overall this car is in great shape, runs very well, and is an opportunity for someone as an entry level sports sedan, who has a connection with an automotive electric person.
Specs:
2003 G35 Sedan 95,500 miles
Interior: Black Leather (Condition: Good 7.5 to 8.5 out of 10 - leather is beginning to fray slightly in the front seats)
Exterior: Silver (Condition: Good 7.5 to 8.5 out of 10 - multiple minor scratches and dings on bumpers)
Added Features:
Winter Package - Heated front seats and mirrors
200-watt BOSE audio system
Power Sliding Glass Sunroof
Work done on vehicle:
September 2014
- Completely new exhaust system
- Radiator hoses
September 2015
- Rear break assembly

Ehh, I wouldn't worry about it. Price is fair for what it is. If you haven't been following along, this entertaining thread should give you hope:

One of those guys will end up buying it at $5K.

If you really want to sell it, I would fix the circuit board or whatever it is that needs fixed. When potential buyers see that somthing in the vehicle needs fixed they more than likely instantly turn away and keep looking for somthing else. Asking price seems fair too start with though. GLWS.

That's low mileage for an 03, and with your maintenance, the price is definitely fair. Keep the ad and be patient, you'll probably find someone who will buy it at close to your asking price (maybe a few hundred $ less for the board). At least the A/C works, which is a big deal for the summer.
