Advice on Buying Project G35? Is it worth it?
So, i'm pretty low budget but set on buying a G35. Looking at my local Craiglist ads, most for my exact budget have transmission problems or just horrible condition. I came upon one, a G35 5-speed automatic WAY under my budget, for $1500, and upon speaking to the owner, desperate for cash in a time of struggle, offered me for $1000. The problems with the car are a slipping transmission, wear on the driver's seat and needs a new horn w/ 140,000 miles. other than that the car SEEMS to be in decent condition. If purchased I will be taking it to the shop to get fixed. If the car is beyond my reach for fixing, i can probably sell it back to make back my money hopefully but What price range should i expect for fixing the transmission, in most cases at least? What are your opinions, and should i buy the car or just keep looking?
thanks in advance and i appreciate any feedback and advice.

will 2003 coupe parts fit an 05'?
hey I've had my 05' 5AT G35 coupe for about 4 months now. New to the forum and didn't really know where to ask this. Some things are starting to go on it, the car has 118,000, so that's expected imo. It had 115,000 when I bought it. Anyways the catalytic converters are starting to rattle, windows are acting funny etc. I found this totaled 2003 coupe for sale that has all the oem parts I could ever dream of without having to go to the stealer ship. Will parts such as the converters and other things fit? Window regulators etc ?
