300$ + tax....at JRP (mississauge), you could probably get it cheaper though...

the installation for one of these things is a breeze, however, depending on the type of wiring for every G, it could take anywhere from seconds to almost an hour to have it installed (without tools).

If you can pop the bottom panel out, it will be a lot easier. you need to look for a harnest at the bottom right drivers side (above the gas pedal) .... once you unclip it, you simply plug in the sprintbooster into its location and then plug the original harnest into the sprintbooster.

sprintbooster does however take away some of the safety features for the manual mode in 5ATs. a normal 5AT, will prevent you from downshifting if its not safe for the transmission, however with the sprintbooster, anything goes. if your going at 60km/h and want to downshift from 2nd to 1st, it WILL!! and your car will start to ****en shake like a horse.... stalling on a 5AT anyone? so be careful and don't **** around with the sprintbooster .. in manual mode just a heads up...

You can't turn if off or on. You unplug your gas pedal harness, plug in the sprint booster to the pedal, then plug the harness into the sprint booster. It is on all the time. It basically remaps your throttle signals to the ECU. No more throttle lag, and smoother shifts in an AUTO.

I will ask my guy why it won't fit the g35x. But if I read the website correctly, the auto version of the sprint booster will not fit the auto g35x. The manual may fit. I will confirm what is going on in a day or so

Bty, anyone who buys it through me gets a free install.

Ok, here's why the sprint booster doesn't work with the g35X. It has a different gas pedal and therefore a different connector. Testing is in the works to try the version which will hopefully work on the 04+ Nissan Maxima as they appear to use the same pedal.

So if you have a g35x you will have to wait a few weeks to see how the testing goes.

If you would like to be the guinea pig for testing and can meet in Mississauga let me know. We have a unit that will fit the g35x, just not sure if the electronics are right. I will bring my laptop just in case it throws an SES light.

T7n7 and knightyyz are you guys using the same brands? man after reading US members' reviews, i really want to get that thing to my 5at, the lag is sometimes annoying, late response timing and discouraging accelaration..

like knight mentioned, only 1 brand.... there is a similar device out there that provides more options ,however, its more expensive and the sprintbooster has better reviews.

i just got the sprintbooster installed by knightyyz. took not more than 5 min to finish.
i can feel the difference but not that much yet, cause i use the manual shifter 90 percent of the time. besides i have driven quiet a lot today , i will probably notice the difference the next time i drive.

will report later on for more objective review. thx for knightyyz for taking the time to meet me today as today is my only off day this week.his maxima sound so nice he fly by me when i was heading to QEW, nice turbo

I don't have a turbo, the maxima is all boltons. The whistle you may have heard is my custom intake.
