Post The sprintbooster

Hey guys, sorry 4 the super crappy pics... iphone lol!

for those of you who were asking me what the sprintbooster is and what it looks like.... here you go:

its very small, and i went under my steering column and unplugged it today. As many of you know, i had my md 5/16 iso spacers installed and i honestly don't feel a difference in performance.. i tried resetting the ecu but nothing gave me the thrill compared to the first time i drove with the sprintbooster installed.

So... i decided to remove the sprintbooster today... and reset the ECU... drove it around hard for a while... went to timmies, and came home... Oh , just so you guys know, I FEEL LIKE i'm driving a snail without the sprintbooster!!! Thats how big of a difference it makes.... the good news is, during our next meet, i will be more then happy to install it on anyone who wants to see the difference... and if you like it.. well. you can give me 339$ or head to a performance shop and buy one!!

I want to properly train the ECU without the sprintbooster so it learns my driving pattern approprietly... i have a motul fluid change next week with speedstar, so hopefully i'll have the engine bay checked for any leaks since i really don't feel the difference with the spacers...

Sprintbooster: it is designed for drive-by-wire throttle equiped vehicles....gives you instant gear changes in 5AT, instant power when you need to do a lane change... and amplifies the throttle response for 6MT for quicker pulls.. (it does not give you any extra HP, it just utilizes the power band)

Now.. since i have the grounding kit installed, when i removed the sprintbooster.. guess what? NO more instant gear changes.... so from my conclusion.. i think the ECU reset might have something to do with that... and the grounding kit is mainly for esthetics..

NOW don't get me wrong... maybe i'm comparing this to the difference sprintbooster makes... i am however VERY happy with my grounding kit since it makes my engine bay that much more brighter and colorful

JAMMMMMMMin...

yup! .. planning to head to 401/kennedy commons - timmies .. so we can meet somewhere there.

p.s: 5ATs will see a huge difference, 6MT will see a big difference.

When I got my gk installed I noticed the shifts were smoother ( I think it shifted better aslo, but maybe I was just excited at having another mod to list, and for sure it reached 100km/hr quicker ) Seriously, it was smoother.

I just wanted to know if it is as good as the spring booster, its a little cheaper but i wouldnt mind paying extra if the sprint booster is better.

ya installed it quite a while ago and yes there a difference. But from the likes of it and from what i hear from ram and zeidek, seems like the sprint booster does wayyy better. I no the grounding kit works buh there boosting the sprint booster like its a mini turbo or sumtin lol. So untill i drive one with is in it, or get it myself, wont be able to compare
