Quick backup camera question

Whats up guys, I am buying up my carpc parts to start this weekend and I am just down to my backup camera. I was looking at the one sold at mp3car but was wondering about the auto camera on the screen when put in reverse? Is this something built into the camera? Is this something this camera will do? If not could someone point me in the right direction about getting this done.

Thanks in advance.

I bought a $35 120 degree one off ebay and it works just as good as the one on mp3car. That one on their site is waaay overpriced. Most of these cams use the exact same cmos sensor. As far as having it come on when in reverse, the positive power is tapped from your reverse light wire harness and most car lcd screens have an auto sense feature. When you put your car in reverse, power is applied to the camera and the screen should sense that the camera is on at that point.

Do lilliput lcd's have this auto sense feature? I was told about it with lcd headunits but didn't notice it on lcd touchscreens?

Thanks for the reply btw I was wondering why the one on here was so pricey.

If I were to do my cam install all over again, I would go a route like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/u49-N...QQcmdZViewItem

and cut out a square from the top piece of the liscense plate frame so only the small square area is visable. My cam mounting was a PITA, this would be a much easier way.

Sorry, it's been a while. If you already have a screen like the xenarc or similar that has an auto-sense feature, all you really need is the camera, some wire taps for power off the reverse light, and a 12ft video cord.
