Well I am starting to feel extremely sick as I bought my G 2 days ago and washed it yesterday. While washing I noticed that I cold not get the bugs off, so I dried the car and tried some cleaner wax with no luck. After looking real close it looks like the bugs have eaten the paint away
Any ideas of how this can be fixed? Any DIY's?? Here are some pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

i get that, i just use a bug cleaner on it, and use a microfiber towel and it'll come off. Keep your car waxed, and it'll make it easier to clean off next time

The first thing I would do is spray some Poorboys Bug Squash and let it sit for a few minutes before washing it off. If that doesn't remove them, use claybar.

Like Shane stated, I would recommend using a claybar. That will come right off.

as mentioned above, keep a good coat of wax on your front end and
try to remove bug stains as soon as possible. their guts are sometimes very acidic and with a slight chip in the paint could allow the guts to get under the paint and bubble it. i use Wizard's BugRelease to remove bugs. just spray after your initial rinse, let it work itself for a min or two and use your wash mitt to gently remove with carshampoo.
