Seats before and after

I just got my car about 2 weeks ago, the seats and carpet look like they have never been cleaned once. I spent 3 hours Sunday cleaning and conditioning they seats with Zainos z9 and z10. The Zanios cleaner would not clean the seats alone, I had to get an interior brush and work like a dog to get them clean. I was sweating like a pig, I live in Arizona. I think I lost about 10 pounds in water weight.

Here is the back seat after. My next project will be that dirty carpet, need to do some reading about the easiest way to clean that.

I've read a lot of good reviews about Zaino leather products but this my first time seeing before/after pictures. Looks good. A Little Green Machine would help a lot with the carpets, it can be bought for around $100 at Walmart.

I was asked the steps I took to clean really dirty seats, here is my steps.

1. Buy Zainos (I am sure other products work also, I just heard good things about Zainos so I thought I would try it.)

http://www.zainostore.com
Get the Z-9 and Z-10 (I got 2 of each, since the shipping is $10)

2. Get an interior brush like this one (I got mine at Autozone for like $4), my seats where so dirty I could not do it with a towel. I wanted to be careful not to harm the seats, This brush has nylon bristles so it did not do any damage to my seats

3. Spray your Zainos Z9 on the seats and put some elbow grease into it. I used almost the entire bottle of Z9. I had to work pretty hard to get the dirt out of mine. Doing bad areas multiple times. Make sure to rinse your brush every little while to get the grime off it. I had a pot of hot water near by to rinse the brush. Hot water seemed to help.

4. Let your seats dry (i waited about 4 hours), then apply the Zanios Z10, this was the easy part, just put some on a towel and apply. I put a little extra in the seams and high wear areas.

Also like to add that when you put conditioner on leather seats, let the seats sit in the sun for a little bit so the pores open up, seems to absorb the conditioner better.

Very nice work!

You make me want to go clean my seats, then i remembered my seats are perfect Lol.

I think the key to leather, is maintaining it. If you condition them once a week, they will maintain that nice new look.

great job on the seats. who owned your car previously - a construction worker? i've never seen seats that dirty on a new-ish car!

i used to have an MX6 and the previous owner loved black leather jackets which stained the tan leather seats. i wish i had known about this Zaino stuff back then...

Great job.

That car was disgustingly dirty with the carpets and seats. The carpet looks stained and I'm not sure you'll be able to remove the reddish stains but good luck.

I could never own a car from someone that took such little care with their possessions.
