Best RPM for a Hard Launch?

anyway, i don't think this really answers his question.

Too many factors to give a simple answer. Variables include mods to the car, tires & tire condition, weather, track prep, driver ability. Go to the track and start low and work your way up into different rpms for your launch. Every car and driver is different so best way to learn is just practice.

track wasn't great, dropping the clutch to warm up tires and i'd spin forever
but yea i'd be spinning. no bog.
i thought my best launch of the night was when i launched at 1500rpm and floored it barely no spin at all. and netted me a 2.509

You should be getting way better than a 2.5. No offense, but 2.5 is boo boo. I could out launch you in my wifes xB. LOL.
But seriously...
I have crappy Goodyear Eagle RS-A's on my OEM 19's and still manage a 2.1-2.3 on a track with almost no track prep.
You have to work the clutch and the accelerator. When you do a good launch, you feel it. Trust me.
Slip it until you feel it hook.
Dumping the clutch on launch doesn't get far. Ease out of the hole.
Your best bet is practice on an empty road to get a feel of a good launch.
