My 1st

Just got home from the drag for the very first time. I only made 3 pass and on my 3rd, the clutch paddle got stuck. Maybe it was a sign, so after that I called it a night... I think I did OK, for the first ever... let me know what you think.

oh yeah, I ran against a nismo Z on my first pass, he finished @ 13.69 with a ridiculous .068 r/t How he do that???

40deg weather helps I guess
my car:
2005 G coupe, lowered with Eibach pro
Racinghart 19 for extra weight
2 10 JL for even more extra weight
spare tire in the trunk, yeah more weight
Otherwise, bone stock

1 pass - I hit the rev limiter on 3rd... opps
r/t .564

330 6.454
1/8 9.729

1000 12.5

not bad for bone stock.. I hit 14.6 bone stock in my 5AT on 87 gas..

that reaction time means nothing really.. I've hit several 0.006 and 0.004's

Should I worry about my clutch paddle stuck to the bottom? This is the first time that ever happens to me and I smell something burned (probably my clutch).

.068 is not really all that great of a light. Certainly good. Usually the clutch peddle sticking is related to a hydraulic failure (slave cylinder).

Work on your launch and you'll get better times. Maybe a 14.4-14.3 with a better launch.
