Transmission identification help

Hi every body so I just got a 05 g35 coupe 5at with that balance body solenoid issue. After looking into things I saw that getting a replacement transmission would be a better and cheaper route so I went to a junk yard and got one. This one is from a 04 after looking into the car more I found out that there is a 2004.5 in that 4.5 they changed the transmission now I'm wondering if the one I purchased will work. I'm new to infinities coming from
Hondas I assumed the g35 trans had a plate with a vin number in it like Hondas do but I can't find one the picture below is the only thing I could find but Google doesn't give me anything. And the junk yard refuses to give me the vin number from the car they pulled it from could you Gus shed some light on this for me?! Is there some where on the trans that would help identify its year

Sorry for the story
