you havet to have 10 posts before you can start a new thread...

just spend a few min on a few posts and then you can create your own here.

you can make a thread about it in this section and ask a mod to move it to the DIY section

The DIY section is a mod/admin approved part of the forum

Very nice DIY just read it on the other forum

sweet. Isn't the 07 Z with the HR motor though? I would think the transmission would be different than the 03-06 models?

yes 07/08 Z's are HR

the tranny is the same .. RE5R05A tranny .. slight differences in valve body's but all use the same transgo kit

ok. good to know. thanks for the write up. Its something I've been waiting a while to see cuz I'm a little sketched out to do this going in blind.

How long did it take you to do the whole thing?

took about 7 hours total .. that was taking my time, organizing all the bolts by the letters on the instructions whilst I took them off, etc

I could probably do it in 4 if I did it again and had a lift

I know what you mean about wanting a lift! Spent 5 hours wrenching on the G Sunday putting it back to stock and I realized I am not 20 anymore.

Good job on the DIY, I spent $300 to have it done and then got rid of the car..sigh.
