Transmission Issues

What's up guys I'm a newbie here. Well I seem to have issues with my gearbox and transmission I think but not sure. It's an Automatic with 109k miles.

First Issue: I like driving it in Semi-Automatic but somehow when I came from shopping it wouldn't recognize it and show drive. My little bro told me to let it cool down than after 3 hours wallah it showed 1m. Also this Is a new issue the second and third has been happening.

Second Issue: Sometimes it won't go to park so I have to go to D than P than it will shift there.

Third Issue: When I'm driving sometimes I have to give it more gas and it feels like it slips only in first gear around 1-2k rpm and also I feel a small delay sometimes.

So let me know what you guys think if the transmission fluid should be changed but I'm scared because I've read Forums where people say it ruined there transmission. Also am I the only that has where my pedal goes to the floor.

well i would assume you would need to change your trans fluid. i change mine every 40k miles. i am at 130k with no issues. you also mentioned that your pedal goes to the floor. which one are you talking about since you have an auto?

Same I hoping a change of fluid would fix it but need expert answers so I don't screw up. I've heard it's bad to change the oil at this high mileage if it hasn't been done for a long time not sure when the previous owner did it.

Coupe, Premium package, sport suspension
You don't want to flush it. Drain and fill only. Some folks do a drain and fill, drive it for 1K miles, do another drain and fill, and keep on until it drains clean. It's expensive due to cost of the fluid, but the idea is that you gradually wean it from the friction components in the old fluid. A flush will drive all of that "beneficial gunk" out, and then the transmission slips. Also, only use OEM Nissan fluid as recommended.
