I refuse to support Walmart. I'd rather spend a little extra at a local business than see my money sent to Bentonville, AR. And you're comparing apples to oranges. He's getting RP, you're getting M1.

the 1010 is the M45 filter. More capacity and fits the G just fine.

i got an oil change today, i bought an Fram oil filter for an M45, what are the benefits of using a larger capacity filer (M45 filter) vs a filter for the G?

If under warranty get the one recommended in your service manual. If not under warranty get the one recommended in your service manual.

Wix makes the Napa gold filter. Fleet filters is where I get them and posted a thread about it. Same as the Napa gold and it's about $4.xx each. Alot better than $8.00 each!
