TT Repair Shop in Philly Area
Guys,
I'm looking for a shop to do repairs to my TT setup. I have the APS TT that was put in by a shop in the Philly Area. I have seemed to lose boost pressure and getting a loud turbo whine. I'm not sure if it's a turbo problem or if it something else. I had it back to the original shop and the did a pressure check of 12 psi and smoke test. They found the BOV was sticking open and fixed that. The system held 12 psi of pressure but the problem still pertained. They check the manifold and that was ok. They checked one turbo and that was alright but didn't have time to check the other.
I wanted to get both turbos replaced because i hear that the APS turbos smoke and are not the best quality. I've been trying to get back into the shop to have the turbos replaced or at least get the wastegates and the second turbo checked to see if either of those are the problem but can't seem to be able to get back in the shop. They have been checking to find a replacement or a rebuild for the APS turbos for about 6 weeks now. I think thats a bit extreme so i feel i'm getting the run around. I just want to get it fixed.
So if anyone can suggest a shop in the area i would truely appreciate it.
Thanks for listening!
