Ok, so i wanted to get some test pipes and i know that i have a chance of throwing a cel, but for inspection, can i just throw the cats back on and the cel will go away immediately? Or will it not go away at all?

Test pipes on stock exhaust is going to make a nasty noise that does not really net you any extra power. It's going to sound louder I guess.

You'll also need a tune after your TP install from an Uprev Dyno Tuner.

Yes. Just unplug battery for a while to reset codes of ECU

If you put the stock cats back on you can clear the CEL (using an OBD2 scantool or by unplugging the battery) and it won't come back. Reinstall the test pipes and you will get that pesky CEL again.

You should really think about saving up the $500 for an Uprev tune if you're going to do test pipes tho.. I've seen cars actually LOSE power by just bolting them on
