If you look at where the oil pools, in the plenum. Its scary to me on a N/A engine that may be road raced or drag raced in the fact" that the oil will move to the back runners and just dump or be sucked up in the cylinders. Oil will drop octane big time and then death rattle accrues, ECU pulls timing, nothing here is positive on a performance stand point. On a F/I engine the problem is 20 times worse because of the cylinder pressures and blow by the ring gases. The PVC valve is over whelmed with blow by gases and oil in most modern day engines. Have you ever wondered why damn nearer all TT have lost number 4,5,6, cylinders when the engine blew. Oil and gas do not mix well in a combustion chamber. There is a 100% fix for this problem, and in time when Tony can put it together, will be one of his biggest Mods. Maybe I should get off my *** and start putting some good mods together.
Oil control is so very important in making Horse power. This filter" separator" fix sure helps some of the issues. Great little mod, |

Ok lemme get this straight.. all this does is prevent oil getting into your lower plenum.. which will result in oil getting into the combustion chamber.. in result mess up the VQ in the long run correct? Is it easy to go back to the stock way also?

If you use the stock hose clamps for the connections at the PCV and lower collector connections . . . You can remove this entire assembly witnin seconds and reinstall the original piece of hose is seconds, as well. Removing and replacing this mod was a big consideration. |

Or just go with the catch can if you can locate a good place to mount it.
