Name some of your fav. video games and why
Final Fantasy VII: great story line, great graphics (for the time). It had action, adventure, it was just a complete game.
Super Mario 3: best platformer ever! the ability to change costumes with different abilities was awesome. Any and all platformers after this game were just copying. Metal Gear Solid: Great story, great presentation, awesome gameplay. A sure runner for best game ever. NHL 98: Probably the best sports game ever created. fast paced, 3d, hard checks. After this game, there was not much EA could do to improve the game. God of War: This game turned violence into a thing of beauty. The story was kind of cheesy, but it drew you in to accomplish Kratos' goals. This game is pure, uncut, digital crack. Singstar: It's just a karaoke game. But it's done so perfectly, none of the imitation games out there can match it. It's an instant party maker: just add alcohol. Some might argue that Rockband trumps it because of the instruments, but you'll always have people in your party who are either shy or reeeeeally suck at the instruments and don't want to play. A must have for those who get together with friends often.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Metal Gear Solid Resident Evil 2 I remember trying forever to beat Emerald Weapon in FFVII before I finally figured out a fool proof way to beat him.

FF8 & FFX - Graphics, Game Play, Sound Track..
GT3 - duno why but out of all the GTs GT3 was the one i was HOOOKED on for months.. graphics and gameplay at the time was win.. SuperSmash Bros / Mario Party - Multi Player party game.. PS1 Tetris.. Metal Gear Solid - Story and graphics Street Fighter.. if we include PC games the usual.. Blizzard Games, BattleField, Counterstrike, unreal... x.x the amt of time...........

counterstrike is fun only when you have friends online with you playing or hacking up a nub server and everyone in the room thinking that your hella good and sheit hahahaha fun times

IL2 Sturmovik 1946 : the holy grail of ww2 combat sims. Very detailed A.I is awesome, and over 100 flyable aircraft. I could play it forever.

Chrono Trigger - One of the best RPGs ever. Sure, it had many cliches but it was superb. It also had the best game soundtrack ever done by Yasunori Mitsuda. Shenmue and Shenmue 2 - Shenmue was a beautiful and ambitious game that was ahead of its time but was very under appreciated. It was touted as the most expensive game ever made at the time. It's the story of Ryo Hazuki and his search for his father's killer. It was like an interactive martial arts action flick. Here's an old trailer for it. Watching this trailer and hearing the soaring theme brings a nostalgic tear to my eye. Sadly, the games didn't sell very well and ended on a cliffhanger. I still hope that they would someday make Shenmue 3 but it's very unlikely. :'( Phoenix Wright series- This is the best lawyer game series ever. Enough said.   http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3136/...e1076b.jpg?v=0 Thief and Thief 2 - Forget Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, and Assassin's Creed. This is a true stealth game. You can actually sneak through shadows and hide in the dark. Enemies can actually see and hear more than 10 feet ahead. Don't get me wrong, I love MGS. But it's just a long movie with some short gameplay segments thrown in while Thief is all about the great gameplay and cool level designs. The story isn't bad either. Not in particular order:
GT3 - innovative, realistic racing as for the Gran Turismo series. It got me hooked. Call of Duty - I started from the beginning. Early versions sucked but got progessively better for a WWII game. COD4 tops them all as a shooter. Medal of Honor - another great WWII series. MS Combat Flight Simulator (original and Pacific)- I would play it for hours on my PC. +1 for realism. Sturmovik another combat flight favorite. Ghost Recon - a John Clancy favorite series - modern day. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit II - booyea!! Guitar Hero - innovation. We can all play rock!!! Metal Gear Solid 4 - Didn't play the prior games but fighting in a movie scenario is awesome. Great graphics, story, etc... A few others I'm missing but that's me FWIW.
