For Rage fans, One Day As A Lion
Zach de la Rocha and Jon Theodore (drummer from Mars Volta) form a band called One Day As A Lion are realeasing an ep (which is only 5 tracks) on July 22nd. Wicked beats and it jams. here is a link to their site http://www.onedayasalion.org/ and can listen to a song.

Wow...someone was actually willing to work with Zach?
It ain't Rage without Morello. His style as well as Zach's voice and angry persona were equal parts of RATM. I heard a rumor that they were possibly getting back together, with Audioslave disbanding and then RATM getting together immediately to play Coachella?

After RATM split, Zach had a solo album in the works...for a long time. It was rumored that he was really difficult to work with and a lot of producers either wouldn't deal with him or just stopped working on the album. Apparently he's a real prick, which is why he and Morello didn't get along.

In my teens and 20s, my favorite bands to listen to was Rage, Pantera, and Tool. Believe me, I get it. What you are missing is that if Zach has a message to get out, and if he has to deal with a producer to get that message out, doesn't it make sense to just eat a dick for the sake of the greater good? You can't fight everyone. That's a losing battle. Again, I stated that it was "rumored" about the breakup and I quantified it as such. Do you find it entirely unbelievable? Is there something you know about the band that I don't? Not being an ***...that's just what was discussed in the past.

One of the best shows that I had ever seen was when they played an intimate show at the El Rey Theater in Hollywood for the Battle of LA release. There were about 600 people at the show and I was lucky enough to happen across a couple of tickets. It was one of the most AMAZING shows I have ever seen.

i get what you are saying but sorry man. im going to be 30 next month and i'll never "eat a dick" and bow down to what i dont believe.
I guess it may be a little easier for me to say since i have a good 9-5 job and own a business. I send money to my relatives in mexico every month and try to go when i can. i cant help everybody in mexico ofcourse and i do have family here that needs me as well. So i dont need to sell my g to help them out. I do attend marches locally when it's issues i dont agree on. So yes, i do think im doing my part and sometimes should be doing more. im never going to give up on what i believe even though it means my life and i'll pass that on. "it has to start somewhere it has to start sometime, what better place than here, what better time than now" btw, for people trying to buy the cd, price match best buys web price for discount! - b
