Immortal Technique's "The 3rd World" honest review
I don't know how I missed making this thread a while back since I've posted some songs on the hip hop thread...
Anyways, like the Nas "Untitled" album, Immortal Technique also slams a home run this year with the release of the highly anticipated "The 3rd World" album.
This time around, he hooks up with DJ Green Lantern ((Eminem's DJ)) to craft the album in mixtape form and surprisingly it worked out very well.
For those of you who were waiting for this, you may have already heard the disc and concur that beside Nas' with the "Untitled" album, we're looking at another candidate for album of the year.
So what's the fuss about, why did I make a separate thread for this when I could have very well posted this in the hip hop thread? Its 2008...we're tired of Soulja Boy and 50 Cent crap on the radio...its time for a new message. Its time social injustice and the elitist crap machine are overturned.
If that sounds like something you're interested in, check out the Amazon review and get ready to take the red pill known as Immortal Technique. Trust me, the message is strong like the strongest dark Colombian coffee with no watering down.

I'm glad I did....this is freedom of speech 2008 in the purest form and I'm glad we finally have people out there doing something about social injustice not just talking it but also living it
