Is this a good t.v.?

I currently have a 36 CRT that I want to replace. People keep telling me to wait since prices for older models will be going down. Not sure how much more I want to wait.

its decent.
but if you're going to be spending that much money i would jump up to the W4100 and get the 120hz refresh rate. Or you could look at 52in Samsung A650 or Toshiba XV540 for probably the same price that will get you a 10bit panel and 120hz. Sony TVs are good, but you do pay a premium for the brand name. oh and whatever you do, don't let them talk you into paying 100 bucks for a Monster HDMI cable... just order one from monoprice.com
