Yup! I unlocked one of the 3.1.2 iphones laying around here last night! Make sure you keep the original AT&T sim in the phone so itunes can activate it so your youtube works later on after you unlock

You don' t need that sim card if you don't have AT&T to "hacktivate" the phone for immediate use.

However, I found if you want Youtube to work this round, its best to activate the phone with a friend's or siblings AT&T card. After the spring board comes up, take it out, turn on wifi, then run the blackrain & black snow apps

what OS are you guys running blackra1n? my desktop is on vista ultimate and im afraid it might crash. i have a netbook on xp but that may be too slow and it might freeze... dilemma....
