Wtf banned from xbox 360 live :(

One thing with Xbox's, piracy is inevitable. Microsoft used to capitalize off it by charging for online service.
I got a refund for my Live. So not only are they losing $50 per pirate per year, they are giving $$ back too.
I would say that of all ppl with modded 360's, 50% will buy another 360, and the other 50% will just buy a PS3 and say fvck Microsoft.
I liked the 360 for the pirated games. If I'm going to be buying games, it's going to be for the PS3.
At least the PS3 plays divx and xvid with srt subtitles. Point is, Microsoft is losing more than they are gaining with the Xbox department.

i will continue to purchase burnt games for my modded xbox 360. If i really like the game I will buy it for my non modded xbox 360 so i can play online

There is a fix, however you need the CPU key from an 360 that wasn't on live within the past 3 months.

Hell, next time you buy a new xbox, get the protection plan from like best buy or some bull****, if you end up modding it, you have up to 2 years to get banned then you can return it for your full money back.. buy a new one. Of course you're losing the protection plan money but its still cheaper than buying a new xbox. Even if you dont get banned, it covers normal wear and tear.. so just get your money back in 2 years.. same **** with office depot, hell you can buy a chair there for like 80 bucks, plan for like.. 15 then call them up week later say its broken, and they send you a new chair without asking for the old chair..

Spend 60$ vs free? Come on now lol. In all serious I can see where you're coming from but for me I won't buy an actual copy of the game unless I'm a fan of the series/game itself or unless it's a ps3 exclusive. I play of my online games on ps3 and play offline games on my modded elite.

**** like that is one of the reasons sega went down.. People would just burn dreamcast games and sell them like that.. It was too easy.. If this keeps up the companies won't want to make anymore games for the system which ****s you over.

This is why Sony is better because of Blu-Ray, piracy is very very minimal (I still haven't heard of it happening). Not even playing PS2 games from hard drive on the PS3.
I have a PS2 with a 500gb hard drive and over 100 games on it as well as a separate partition for divx videos/movies. It is literally impossible for any of my games to get scratched, because there are no disks. Not only that, hard drives spin faster than any disk drive you can think of. Making gameplay smoother and loading times so much faster, they are ready in 2 blinks of an eye. Piracy is a byproduct and motivator of advancement in console coding technology. Making video game console more versatile and more functional than they were originally intended.
Sony has included Divx and Xvid (as well as SRT subtitle support) with their PS3 and allows you to store whatever you want on the hard drive.
M$ does not allow video files to be played on the xbox (unless you have XBMC installed). M$ is stupid. I plan on getting my PS3 this xmas season.

I like the setup for using PS3 to play online and 360 to play offline. Works better that way.
