The BEST car event ever. Period. Only had time to take a few pics.

 

Nice,but didn't look like a big turnout....

 

The event was over capacity for registered attendees, I only took a few pics. Fontana Village is pretty big so all the cars were spread out over the whole village, not like a car meet where all the cars park in 1 main lot.

 

Gotcha...That makes more sense..

 

Looked like a great time. Boy I miss being back out that way! Stupid AZ

another May has almost come and gone which means ZdayZ! for those who haven't seen anything about it before, ZdayZ is a 3 day festival for everything Z, G, and GTR related set on the backdrop of some of the most beautiful parts of the country in the far west mountains of North Carolina near the Tennessee boarder. ZdayZ is known for it's great driving roads during the day and it's should-be-illegal levels of partying in the evenings. this year was the best yet that i've been to thus far. there were well over 700 registered participants. tens of thousands of dollars worth of giveaways. there was even a 5K/10K run/walk event for charity. it's one of the big events i look forward to every year and i already can't wait for next year! now, on to the pictures...

friday fav's:

1. the 10K'ers seemed to be more enthusiastic about the walking part than the running part


2. the morning light provided some great colors


3. Nissan brought out a Juke-R for ZdayZ this year, the first time it'd been shown publicly in the US


4. my good friend Andy asked me for this one shot on the dam before we left and I thought it turned out pretty good

5. it was raining saturday morning when we were doing the car show pictures but we worked through it. this poor Z had the misfortune of a biker coming across their lane after losing control and hitting the front of their car. luckily no one was hurt (except maybe the biker's pride)

8. in the exhaust competition, if you lose traction, you are disqualified. nick decided that since he's got over 1000whp from his twin turbo LS2 powered 350z, why not go out in style?
