Ok here it is. I'll start this first post with links to car clubs/event sponsors that I'll use throughout the year. So I'll update this first post when necessary with new links and good info.

I haven't run with many of the AutoCross clubs yet, so I don't know if they are show up and drive deals. But the Track events register at least one month in advance.

Oh nice ... I still want to do the TMS Roval and hit that banked curve with the G!!!

Those are going to be some hot weather days for the track though ... hope your brakes are up to it!

I believe the 07 brakes are identical to 06. In 06 they upgraded the brakes across the line to where they really are about as good as the brembos, but I don't believe anything changed on the brakes in 07. You'd probably be just fine with minimal brake fade by just getting hawk pads.

I could be completely wrong, but that's my understanding.

If you are talking Hawk HP+ then yes those are probably sufficient ... but if you are talking Hawk HPS then I disagree as they did not perform well for me on the track as they are not designed to stand up to the extreme temperatures from a track session.

GWord256 has not had much luck with the stock brake setup on his '07 with numerous different pads.

If you just want to do pads, I might suggest the pads that Grubbs Infiniti / G3 Motorsports recently developed. Read what I posted about them here...
