Spied: Infiniti EX.

Here's the story of the gentleman who took the picture:
Spotted an EX July 5th

Leftlane News

Infiniti engineers have done a good job hiding the upcoming EX small crossover from spy photographers, but one vacationer in California was able to snap a photo of a camouflaged car. It might be buried under a lot of tight-fitting camo, but we can very clearly see that the EX follows the concept that Infiniti showed in March.

Under the hood is more than likely the new 3.7 liter V6 from the G37 coupe, as well as all wheel drive and a lane-departure system. It looks like Infiniti was testing its new "Around View Mirror" system, which includes front, side and rear-mounted cameras.

It looks like Infiniti's engineers are benchmarking the Porsche Cayenne, a vehicle that's really more comparable to the larger FX.

Edit: Notice the Cayenne in the background. Will the EX be a cute ute with a serious attitude?

Hmmm... is it just me or does the EX seem to be really low? For some reason the car to me looks like it's pretty short (height-wise).

Great! Isnt that the camera in the front? Please tell me they are not going to leave it sticking out there like that. What happened to cool gadget that folds out?

That makes sense. After all, I doubt the 35HR was produced solely for the G35 sedan. 306 hp is plenty in this new x-over.

I want to see the interior, darn it!

It appears as if the roof is covered in plastic! You think they're going to continue with the clear/shaded roof?!

I HIGHLY dout it. The entire car is camoflauged. In fact if you look hard enough, you can make out the sunroof.

Or it could be that guy in the sunglasses is pretty tall - the other guys standing around make it seem taller - but i agree, it still looks a little short.
