05/06 Sedan FRONT BUMPER

Looking for a front bumper off a 05/06. Any colour/condition is fine, hopefully someone has one laying around after upgrading to aftermarket.

I'm interested in trying to make this fit a 03/04, I know they're not the same. Prefer if grill is included but not a deal breaker.

PM or post if you have something and are local. Shipping + cost of part is of no interest to me, if it's not within an hour or so drive it's pointless, I live in the Tri-Cities, Ontario.

Why not just buy a 03-04 bumper if yours isnt a 05-06?

Grill I'd like to get with it if possible.
I don't plan on changing the headlights.

I already stated that I know they're different, and don't bolt right up, I'm planning on retrofitting it. If it doesn't turn out great, then I don't want to have a ton invested in it. Hence this ad, hence the local pick up, etc, etc.

Do you have one or something?

You still need to address the issue of the hood.

Running an 03 hood will not work as it will leave a big gap from the hood lip to the grille (not to mention the bumper) If you just do bumper, grille and hood the hood will then overlap the headlights and just barely close.

You need to do a full swap for this so it doesn't look retarded.

Thanks for more in depth info on this Blain. So based on what you're saying, I could run a 05/06 hood, grill, and bumper if I shaved the 05/06 hood a pinch around the headlights?

I know this seems like it won't turn out, I know the best option is to do a full swap, etc, etc.
And if someone can find me a reasonably priced complete front end that I can pick up locally or can be dropped off to me, for under $1000, I'm in.

The simple fact is, the headlights alone will be hard to find for less than that around here.

I've also been told things won't work or look properly before, and I've done them, properly. I listen to such advice, I'm not ignorant to it, but I am not about to let it stop me from trying if I can find one to test out for a reasonable price.

Again, hence this ad. Someone let me try it!

It's more than a pinch, it's reforming the front of the hood. You will also need to build up about an inch or so under the headlights (on the bumper) to meet the 03/04 lights.

If you look at the 05/06 lights they are elongated and come to a pint at the bottom. Where as the 03s are smooth and round.

Nothing I seem to take on is a 'pinch', kind of a shame, but that's just the way I seem to do things LMAO. The result is almost always worth it or better though.

The hood is steel, I can work with it simple enough.

And yeah I knew about the headlight differences, the different hood/grill/bumper line I didn't know about though, so thanks again for that info.

Either way I want to gather these parts. Even if it means I do end up doing the full conversion. I need the bumper and hopefully grill.

Hood I want anyways actually as I don't at all like the 03/04 hood.

The hood is not steel it's aluminium. It's also pretty much hollow.... Soooo have fun welding to that ****.

This is really way to much work for an uglier hood, grille and headlights (swap wise) maybe if you wrote off the front end ....

Just buy a Kurookie and call it a day.

oh and you're definitely not going to find the bumpew/ grille. Wreckers charge $300 for the grille and $350-500 for the bumper.

Excellent.... I'd only heard it was steel, I never did check.

And that's a fair assesment, for sure. I honestly have no idea what to do with the front yet, so I'm glad you chimed in on this to help steer me in the right direction.
And after seeing hte Nismo in person on your car, I do like it. I'm still not wild about it, and especially for the cost, but it's surely the best looking one available to us.

^It's kind of the back up plan if I don't end up doing the 05/06 or modding the 03/04.

I figure it's harmless attempts, as long as I don't damage anything I wouldn't replace anyways. If I'm decided I want a change and it goes arry, then I just get a new bumper, as I would do anyways if I didn't try to mod the stock ones..... so what's the harm, I figure....
Not as if anyone would pay for a 03/04 bumper anyways. And surely not enough to make it worth selling.
