Help with test pipe. Will this pass emission test??

I look at this at ebay and yes I know is not a good brand but this is all I can afford right now.

Will this pass emission test? Anybody in AZ or some other state or might even have the same thing or have any clue about it please help me.

Spec and Features:

When does your "Pass airbag off" light come on??

When do you guys see the light come on? Is it ALWAYS on when nobody is sitting in the passenger seat? :dunno:

I just picked my car from the dealer because mine was always on. They replaced the passenger seat lower cushion, and I still have the same problem! I haven't spoken to the dealer about it yet. They actually broke a plastic trim peice and ordered me a new one so i gotta go back to have that installed. I just want to know what the deal is with the airbag light off light.

MY understanding is this. Nobody in the pass seat, or a child under 40 lbs and the "AIRBAG LIGHT OFF" light comes on. Adult over 40 pounds and the light is off meaning the airbag is on right?

My light only comes on when i start the car, and then it goes off...even if nobody is there. They replaced the pass seat for this and still doing it. Am i going crazy, or do i really havre an issue worth pursuing??

EDIT: BTW, i had an '09 G37x loaner...that thing HAULS!

Need Help Regarding Spacer

Hi All,

I changed my 17" wheels to M sports 19" one. and I replaced my spring in couple's spring. drop a little bit and put 10mm spacer all around.

However, after 4 months installation. The front tires starting to rub the arm. I heard that I need 15mm spacer and maybe change my tire from 245/40/19 to 235/35/19. Can anyone give me some advice please? Is there a store close to Rosemead, California that is selling the 15mm spacer? Any recommend brand?

Tow Hook cover Question

So my 21st birthday is coming up and my dad decided to buy me a set of new tires for my car as a present (Thanks pop!). I personally despise the stock Potenzas, they seem to transmit a lot of bumps and rattles and don't perform too well, so I didn't want to just bring them to the dealership for a set of four OEMs.

I looked into the FAQ's and found good tire information, but nothing specific for the stock 18" split-five spoke wheels. I know the stock tire size is 235/45/18 but I wanted to get something a little meatier....what are my options?

I was looking on tire rack and saw some good options, but I'm not sure which to go with. Can anyone suggest me some options?

wheel spacers with oem 19" m45 wheels?

I just picked up some 19" OEM M45 sport wheels for my 05 g35x they have 245/40/19 tires on them. I heard i need to run wheel spacers in the front? Is this true and what size spacers do I need? thanks for the help.

Quick AWD/Staggered ?

I know a staggered tire set up is not good for the AWD system. i will be swapping out my fronts soon. Question is if I run staggered for a short period of time (< 1 month), should that be ok?

Also, would 245/45/18 or 225/45/18's be better for the G35x?

About 2 weeks ago I picked up a 2003 G35 Sedan and I finally decided to sign up to the forum after a week or so of lurking :hello:

The car:

2003 G35 Sedan
Green exterior (I dont know the formal name of the paint. Something 'Mist' I think)
Beigh leather interior
66.6k miles
Fully loaded minus Nav and heated seats
Picked her up for $11k + tax and reg

I dont think I can give you an honest opinion about the car because my previous car was a Jeep Compass (don't ask) so, to me, I've been driving a Rolls Royce for for the past 2 weeks :rofl:

Im about to turn 23
Live in Los Angeles
Far from a serious car guy, but thats not to say I dont love cars
SN is Doberman because thats my dog

hey guys, i recently changed my brakes to brembos which didnt clear my front wheels so i had to put oem back on (changed only passenger side front caliper). i bled properly and now have the brake, vdc, and slip light all on. disconnected the battery, no luck, tried resetting ecu, no luck. lights go off, and pop back up. wtf, help me out guys. thanks!

Hey everyone,

So i'm new to the forums, but I've had an 03.5 Sedan 5AT Premium package (Black/Willow) for a year and a half now. I bought it at an auction for 7k with 127k miles on it, now has 147k. The radio/hvac didn't work, so I went aftermarket with a Pioneer headunit/iPod adapter in center console. (wayyy better sound quality). I hardwired my V1, tinted it all the way around, cleared the bumper lenses (black housing), 6000k bulbs in the headlights... and of course did the coupe midpipe modification. I'm absolutely in love with my G, but I want some opinions.

With the high mileage and wear on the car's front end (highway miles), I'm not sure if I want to continue spending more money on modifying the car at all... I just go a Co-Op position making great money.. alternating between there and school at Purdue.

What do you think? say eff it and keep doing little things that make me happy?

or keep saving for an 06 6MT sedan? ;-)

OEM Brake Pad Shims Part Number

Does anyone know what the part number is for the front oem brake pad shims? Can you even get just the shims or do you have to buy a whole kit with all that stuff in it? The reason I ask is because I replaced the pads on my wifes car with the Hawk pads a while back and they came with thier own shims. So the oem shims was discarded. Well when I replaced the pads for the second time she wanted me to use the oem pads. So I ordered them, they came in, I opened the box and much to my surprise they had no shims with them. So I was gonna use the shims that came with the Hawk pads, they dont fit. Since I had to have the car back up and going I went ahead and installed the pads without shims and now these pads absolutely howl at low speed stops, I honestly think it could wake the dead, lol. I have searched everywhere and cannot find the oem shims to fit this car now. Hopefully someone on here will know.
