Hi everyone recently I had a rattling noise by passenger side dashboard as I am traveling at the speed of 65-70pm. Today I had a friend of mine sitting at the passenger side and I did not notice anymore rattling. I was wondering if the rattling was actually comming from the passenger seat since I did not hear the rattling anymore. Have anyone ever experience this same situation? And is it possible to have the seats to rattle? Also is there any adjustments that I can do with the seats? I greatly appreciate everyone's comment. Thanks.

Granted I do a ton of quick trips/stop go driving but i have never had this bad of mileage. Did a 90 mi trip today and I could just see the fuel needle drop.

Replaced the air filter, did a seafoam treatment, full tires, ECU reset, just had an oil change. Took it to the dealership 2x to run diagnostics. It is actually running lean. Could not find any issues with the fuel system or tank. What the hell is wrong with my car?

I was thinking of getting an '03 or '04 or '05 G35 coupe (the old body is so much nicer), but I had a couple of questions. What is you experience with YOUR g35? The good and the bad. Performance, handling, maintanance cost, gas cost, how often does it break down, what problems does it have, things like that. All help will greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

I have around $35k CAD total to spend, i don't think i can find a used G37 for this price in Vancouver, BC. I was planning to buy this imported G37 from USA on craig's for $33k CAD + tax, but my dad said it's not safe buying a car from out of my country? So is it safe buying a car that came from the US if im in Canada?

This car is mainly for getting to school (1.5hr bus/skytrain to school, + another 1.5hr back). This will be my first car, so it has to be automatic... I don't have time to learn to drive manual and i'm lazy even though i know its funner and faster.

**edit**
I also want to know how much faster/slower is the genesis coupe 3.8 compared to the g35, cz i dont want to be beaten by a hyundai if the time ever comes at a stoplight. I'm probably going to spend $1000 on mods within the first 2 months if i get a g35.

Also, in Canada, i'm not sure why the prices are like this but 27000 seems to be the lowest for a g35 with 40,000km. I'm pretty sure i can negotiate a bit and get $2k off...right?

Prices: ( IM IN CANADA)
Used 2006 G35- ~$27000 + tax
Used 2008 G37 from the US- ~$33000 + tax (9.5k miles, fake? This is pushing the limit, gotta sell my computer for this. I don't really mind selling my computer if i can get a g37..)
New Genesis Coupe 3.8 Automatic- ~$33000 + tax (Pushing the limit as well, and my parents don't really like the brand...)

So today (11.18.2009) I turned 21... I've been doing monthly payments of $400 to buy out the car. Today my parents gave me the best present of all time. They bought out the car for me, i know what you guys think.. another rich kid getting money from his parents. Its not like that all, and this is the first time something like this happened. My dad has always been a car fanatic but never wanted me to mod the car because he considered it too luxurious, but i saw power in it. So i used my hard owned money to mod the car, not to mention paid for all services, and the car is babied. Everytime i did a mod to the car i would get crap from my old man, until her drove it and then complimented me, and im not kidding, every single mod. But now he loves the car, so my advice to some younger drivers, whos parents might not support their modding. Ask them to check it out, get them interested, main thing is to mention all the good that these mods are doing. Anyways heres a pic from the day i got my baby:

And how it looks today:

I have been offered a custom hood by a carbon company I've been working with and I'm strongly considering it.

But my question is, how do to you guys wash your car? I most often go to coin washes and use my own sheepskin mit for the was. Does water drip into your engine bay? I keep my bay relatively clean and I am getting some polished parts in the next few weeks, do you have any problems keeping it clean with the water spots and what not? When ever I do a good clean of the bay I usually cover the intake and alternator to keep the water out, do I run the risk of getting water somewhere it shouldn't be? I am more concerned with soap going in and drying all ugly like :(

Any info would work, anyone put some kind of moisture locking foam there?

The Seibon TS hood is the style I'll be looking to design.
