DATE AND TIMES:
11/8/09 from 10 am to 5 pm. Car show registration from 9am to 11am, judging begins at 11, awards ceremony at 4:30. Race registration starts at 9am, heads up qualifying at 11:00, 12:00, & 1:00. Eliminations at 2:30, 3:30, & 4:30.

EVENT ACTIVITIES:
Car/truck/bike show, 1/4 mile drag racing , mixed martial arts expo, stereo crank it up contest, burnout contest, $400 hot body contest (*weather permitting - ladies, call 225-247-7223 to register), raffles and giveaways, models, vendors, and DJs.


SHOW PRICES - All registration on day of show at front gate
Spectator $15 with flier (regular $17) *flyers printed off computer ok to use - right click on flyer image, print. Coupon only good for spectator admission.
Children 10 and under FREE
Car Show Entry $25 (does not include free passenger pass). *Note, IFO only charges $25 per car show entry, not $50 to $60 like other events that claim to give a “free” passenger pass.
Test and Tune Drag Racer $25 (open to any make/model)
Competition Drag Racer $25 (imports or sports compacts only)

As promised Imported Performance and COBB Tuning are teaming up to bring the Z and G community a Dyno Day to remember. Since the Imported Performance Grand Opening, which COBB Tuning was kind enough to sponsor, the 2 organizations have formed a great business relationship.

This will be an all day event starting at 9am on Sunday, December 13th. Hot chocolate, breakfast and lunch will all be provided.

This will be the first time the Imported Performance 370Z will be on the dyno!!! Don't miss out on being there for that!!!
This event is aimed at Z's and G's, so please be sure to make time in your schedule for this event. We have 18 time slots with 5 spare spots. (encase someone misses their time)

Well, the time has come. Many have requested and your DNE Staff is here to deliver. It's been since June 2003 since DNE has hosted a dyno day and I don't know about you, but I think it's been WAY to long.

This month's meet will be a 2 part meet. First and foremost, we will have our usual DNE Meet dinner on November 14th at Coach's. It's been a while since we've been there, and quite frankly it's been missed. We will enjoy the usual banter between BlueBOB and everyone else, Darrick's random inserts of ghetto-ology, LatinMax's urge to touch anything that moves, and JNCoRacer's need to hate on everyone. :)

Part 2 will be what everyone's been looking for. The dyno meet will be hosted by Cobb Tuning in Plano. You can eiter find a map on Cobb Tuning's website or use the address below. The actual dyno meet will take place on November 15th (Sunday). The shop is not usually open on Sundays, which means we will have the shop to ourselves! The cost of the dyno will be $45 for 3 pulls on their all wheel drive dyno. Cobb Tuning will also be providing food and drink for the day, so the price is definitely worth it. At this time, we are assuming we'll start the dyno day at 10am till we're all done. We're also going to try to lump a bunch of like cars together to make things smoother Cobb. Also, if you'd like some advice or help about a new part, Cobb has offered to help on that stuff as well. So, if you want to see what kind of increase a new part provides we can work that in as well.

So there are a few points for this meet. Let us know if you can make any part of the meet and if you plan to come to the dyno. If you are coming to the dyno, let us know if you'll just be coming to spectate or if you're going to run on the dyno. If you are going to run, let us know when would be best for you (morning, lunch, afternoon, or all day). This will help us build a schedule of cars to allow us to run as many cars as possible. :)
