Just an update to where I am with my turbo project. 98% of all the parts are at the shop waiting for final prep IE, powder coat, install. Just an update to where I am with my turbo project.

98% of all the parts are at the shop waiting for final prep IE, powder coat, install. Im still waiting on a few back order items, but everthing is coming along great.

Short block complete blueprint/horned/asmly
heads shipping out for rework/val job next friday
waiting on powercoating to be complete
and finaly asmly to take place within 2-3weeks or so.
A few changes including BBK, CF body parts are being updated to the car.

hopfully brake-in will take place in Mid-Dec and tune in Jan.

I already have Motordyne Dual Exhaust 2.5", Berk Tech High Flow Cats, JWT Clutch Flywheel Combo, Motordyne 5/16 Spacer. So I didn't wanna go the turbo route because for the money I wanna spend I would'nt get anything reliable. So I decided to go the Vortech way. I wanted to buy the V3 Tuner kit now I'm wondering what are the other components that i'm going to need.

What gauges do i need?
What fuel pump? Walbro 255LPH?
What Injectors? RC Engineering? Dearthswerk? HKS? 440CC? 650CC?
What fuel management? Osiris? UTEC?

I got about 8000$ budget, I will be doing the install myself and get it tuned by my local shop. Am I forgetting any parts other than those three components? And also how hard is it to change the fuel pump? I heard you have to remove the backseat.

I searched and couldn't find anything substantial to answer my question so here goes:

1) Looking into buying a used G35 coupe, non-revup with a Vortech on it. I'm not too keen on FI but I know I've always wanted FI. Is there anything I should be looking out for on the car for signs that it could be a bad install, reliability issues, leaks, or just anything pointing to future breakage?

2) Before I dive into the deep-end, is it even a good idea to buy a used car that's FIed? I know if it's done properly it "might" be fine, but ya just never know these days right?

I'm writing this because I'm new to the G community but not new to the VQ world. I just purchased a 05 G35 (today) and I'm looking to Procharge it. I had an 03 Z that was Procharged, when I got into a accident and totaled my Z I was able to recover the Procharger system. I've been cruising the internet all night (while at work) looking for a 05 G that’s was procharged; I've yet to see one... Can anyone give some insight on this?

It's quite a bit and just started happening. Is that normaL?

Just dynoed car and it's running decent. AF range from 12-14. Only thing was my trq was way above up at 467trq and hp down to 320hp. Not sure if it's the guys dynoing wrong or if I should have someone look at it in more detail? Well finally got the car back to the tuner.
I was putting down 427whp on a cool day @ 8psi with meth.

Installed:
3.5" downpipes
CJM Stage 1 Fuel Return System
DW 600CC Injectors
Some modification to the swirl jet in the gas pump assembly
Haltech EMS with AIT Sensor and Boost Solenoid

New numbers are 457WHP@8.5psi with meth still on stock block after almost 3 years.
