Quote:
Officers need help to find White Center hit-and-run truck

The King County Sheriff's Office has asked for the public's help in finding a truck that hit and critically injured a pedestrian in White Center on Tuesday.

The accident was at 5:20 p.m. The 36-year-old man was crossing 16th Avenue Southwest at Southwest 106th Street.

The truck was going south on 16th and hit the man. The truck slowed but didn't stop.

The man is in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center.

The driver's side mirror of the truck was found at the accident scene. Investigators say the truck's left front fender was also damaged.

Authorities say the vehicle is maroon and a Chevrolet or GMC truck. And it is one of the following models:

* GM or Chevrolet full size pick-up, 1988-1989
* Blazer or Jimmy, 1992-1994
* Suburban, 1992-1999
* GMC Yukon, 1992-1999
* Chevrolet Tahoe, 1995-1999

If you see the truck, call the Sheriff's Office at 206-296-3311. That line is answered 24 hours a day. You can also call 911.
I'm going truck hunting this weekend. If anyone wants to join, let me know. PLEASE keep an eye out for the above described truck in the general region. I'm going to call the junkyards down there and tell them to keep an eye out for anyone looking for new body panels or a mirror.

i really need someones help and it'd save me a ton of money. my trunk stopped working a few weeks ago and i've tried every possible solution except one. the switch, fuses and actuator are all good. my only option left is the bcm. if someone would be willing to let me try theirs in my car that's be awesome cause i really don't want to spend $450 on a new one, find out i don't need it and be out all that money. i really don't want to take my car to the dealer or anywhere else just so they can charge me labor to perform all the other tests and trouble shooting i've already done. if someone is willing help me out i'd greatly appreciate it. i'm available any sunday, usually after noon, and can come over to your house with tools and do all the work. the body control module is located right by the fuse panel in the kick panel on the drivers side of the car. tacoma area would be preferred, but at this point anything will do. tia :icon27:

I have been trying to get the Up Rev Standard for my 2007 G35 sedan, but Up Rev (TX) does not have enough tunes to offer the 5 map Standard tune for V36.
So,
I have been talking to the guys at Up Rev to see if I can get a tune for my 07 sedan (V36). Up rev does not sell their standard tune for the V36, and no one in Spokane tunes G’s or Z’s with Up Rev.
To make a long story short, I contacted Intec Racing in Kent, Wa. as they are the closest Up Rev dealer. Intec racing do travel, and will come to Spokane to do G and Z tunes with Up Rev. The more people I get, the better the price. I did talk to Mike at Intec and he said if I found 5 people, he would come out next week.
So, is anyone interested in doing a “group tune”? All we need is 5 committed cars and a dyno. I’m not interested in doing this next week, but would like to do something before some of you put your babies up for the winter.
Interested? Is anyone willing to help me organize this? Other than Tranceworx, do we know of a shop/dyno where this can be done?

More info about Up Rev and Intec here:

so i finally got off my *** and finished my speaker box project. putting a 12 in the G trunk wasn't an easy task with the low clearance. it was even harder to get the airspace volume i needed while maintaining a somewhat usable trunk and getting it tuned to a good sounding frequency. i ended up with a total volume of 1.63 cu. ft. and a tuning frequency of ~38 or 39 Hz. making the facade was a challenge too, but i think it turned out ok. here's pics: :icon38:
ignore the writing, sometimes i get confused :o
