How to remove the AT shift knob?

I remembered seeing it somewhere but I can't find it. I just got my momo shift knob and am eager to install it but I have no idea how to safely remove the original knob. Help please.

ok frist u are going to need to pull down the bottom plastic peice.

then push the gold colored metal clip foword towords the front of the car. u will know its pritty stright foword one u look at it.

here is a pic of the clip off of the shifter. u are going to want to save that clip if u ever want to put the stock shifter back on. sorry for the crapy qulity pics i used my camerea phone.

now all u need to do is simply pull up on the shifter and it will slide right off. its that easy takes all of 30 seconds to do. Hope this helps u out
