you can buy printed copies from the same site but it's big bucks. Down loading takes a lot of time since you need to get each section one at a time, you can't simply pick manual and presto you're done. Make sure you got a block of a couple of hours or more free before you start. I've down loaded the entire 2004.5 coupe manual and it took me a good 3 hours or so. I've made my own CD and it's great. the PDFs are all linked so you can easily navigate through the manual.

FYI - Easy Access Infiniti Service Manual
Hey everyone,
I'm sure some people already know about this but.... For myself, I found a way to obtain the official (4 vol./3000+pages) Infiniti Service Manual online w/o having to spend the $295 for the printed version or $210 for the CD version. AND.....being able to download it! 1. http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/infiniti/default1.asp 2. Register 3. Buy a one-day online subscription for $19.99 4. After logging in, click on PUBLICATIONS tab at top of homepage. 5. Click on FIND PUBLICATIONS tab on drop-down menu 6. Fill in Model/Publication Type (service manual)/model year....ENTER 7. Click on the LITTLE EYEicon to the right of the service manual, left of the CD icon. 8. VIOLA! A wealth of information on lighting, electrical wiring, engine specs, door/panel/headlight/etc. removals, detailed DIY maintainance, etc, etc, etc. 9. Left-click on the abbreviation (e.g. AV or LT or MA, etc). It will bring you to the .pdf for that section. 10. REMEMBER, YOU ONLY HAVE 24 HOURS to do this....... I wish I would have known about accessing this when I was doing my doubleDIN conversion and other mods...... docron1 |

According to the online "viewing" agreement, you're not *supposed* to share the materials with other people other than yourself. :-p
The file is too big, some sections are 20 pages, other sections are 194 pages. Follow my directions in my initial post and you should find the service manual and access it easily..... Someone pointed this out on my other post about this on 6mt.net........ THIS IS FOR "VIEWING" PURPOSES ONLY.....(where you view it isn't very clear to me....) ;-) |

In reply to: umm.. dude.. i knew about this a while back.. but then someone posted saying that nissan got wind of it and stopped certain sections from being d/led.. i just finished d/ling the manual but i need to confirm the size to make sure i got the full thing |

How long did it take for you to have access? It's been almost 3 hours, and still no luck. I logged in, it even says my subscription expires tomorrow. But when I go to the service manual, it says I need a subscription to view it? grrrrrr.

i didn't have any problems at all. completed download of entire service manual in approx 30 minutes (dsl).
