Quick battery disconnect/anti theft switch

Quick battery disconnect/anti theft switch
Here's my install of the Napa quick disconnect/anti theft switch. Took me about 20 minutes. Had to fab. a brass sleeve to go under the original negative clamp which would not tighten enough. See pic.
For the Canadians here, I bought the same battery disconnect at Napa A/parts here in Cambridge: It's described as an "anti theft switch" in their parts book but as a "battery master switch" on the packaging. p/n 782-2218, cost $21.29 before taxes.
Installation fairly easy, but had to fabricate a tubular brass bushing for the new switch neg. post since it was slightly smaller than the original. See pic.
Works great: 1/4 turn on the green **** and the battery is disconnected.
I also opted to angle the new terminal to the passenger side of the battery for convenience.
The battery compartment cover goes back on with no clearance problems, but the actual battery cover door will need a slight trim to sit flush again, or the new terminal can be angled to the front for more clearance.
Also a link to PratG35's install of same part.
